Extension's Urban Affairs & New Nontraditional Programs Unit at Alabama A&M University is dedicated to serving Alabama families. Each October experts are invited to our Annual Family Conference to address ways that family care providers can better assist individuals and families, while strengthening family-centered communities.

The focus of the 2007 Annual Family Conference is on health literacy -- the ability to help consumers to access and process basic health information and services they need to make wise health decisions.

You don't want to miss this opportunity to hear dynamic speakers, network with colleagues, earn professional credits, and learn about new resources that will enhance the level of service you provide to your customers.

Come and join us in October along with keynote luncheon speaker Dr. Ian Smith and other outstanding guests as we sharpen our community service skills!
